Family!
It has been a week full of small and big miracles! Our Zone is trying to focus on all the little miracles that happen every day so that we can see God's hand in the work. On Monday evening we were volunteering at a old folks home and we met this other volunteer, Sonia. She is super nice and she seemed very interested in us. We set up an appointment with her later that week and it went alright. We are playing basketball with her today and hopefully that will open up some more doors. Then one night we had an appointment with a less-active, Heather, who we have been working with since I got here, and about five minutes before the lesson she texted and said she invited her friend Eric to hear the missionary lessons. So we got to teach Eric and he seems pretty solid.
Saturday was Amy's baptism and it was so special.
Another miracle at the baptism is that kayla, one of our investigators, came to it. She loved it and felt super welcome by the branch.
P.S. I saw my first fire fly this week!
